Multiple screw anchored and soil nailed walls have been designed for temporary construction-phase and permanent applications for Helitech Corporation.  Wall lengths have been as much as 300 to 400 feet, with heights as much as 15 to 20 feet.  Analyses have included development of Factors of Safety for pullout, sliding, overturning, and global stability.  Projects have included installations for the Washington University Social Sciences Building, and the University of Illinois’ Medical Building, and Memorial Stadium Renovation and Expansion.                Typical soil nailed wall, covered by shotcrete, retaining an        excavated face.  Note condition of soil nailed wall, and           caving failure in an area left unprotected.
