Mr. McMillen's professional experience includes over 12 years of geotechnical design and construction in the metropolitan St. Louis area.  Areas of specific interest include the design and and construction of deep foundations and specialty deep foundation systems.  Mr. McMillen is also experienced in the design of retention systems, including soil nailed, tangent pier, gabion, geocell, and other retaining structures.         Other areas of experience include the practical design of steepened slopes, including slope stability analysis, and the construction of rock cuts.  Mr. McMillen is also certified by Jefferson County to complete Seismic Design Category calculations.       His responsibilities have included geotechnical engineering design and consultation recommendations, report preparation, and review. Mike P. likes to spend time with his family which includes his three sons.  When time permits he enjoys a round on the links and spending time in the outdoors geocaching.
